On a beautiful July afternoon with only a few tiny (refreshing) sprinkles of rain, the members of Humanist Ottawa got together for our annual summer barbeque, which was generously hosted by Diane and Peter. After a few worries about whether the gas grill would light (it was the first time it was used in the season), things were off to a good start, and the beer, wine, and soda were flowing.
It was great seeing longtime members mixing in with new members, and lively conversations were happening up on the deck as well as in the beautiful backyard garden.
Everybody liked J.P.’s choice of burgers and he promised to provide them again next year. Here’s another one of our many shameless group photos, to commemorate the occasion!
